Emmanuel Memorial Episcopal Church is located in Champaign-Urbana, a vibrant college town in central Illinois. We are a body of believers who are different in many ways — but we are all united by the love of Christ. You will find us worshiping at our beautiful church every Sunday morning at 8 and 10:15 for a Rite I and Rite II mass, respectively, as well as every weekday (and night!) in our chancel for Morning and Evening Prayer. These practices have formed us into a community that strives to feed the hungry, care for the poor, and seek the good in every individual we meet. Please join us in prayer as we begin the search for our new rector:
Almighty and everlasting Father, you have given the Holy Spirit to abide with us for ever: Bless, we pray, with his grace and presence, the person who will be called in your Name to serve our parish, that your Church, being preserved in true faith and godly discipline, may fulfill all the mind of him who loved it and gave himself for it, your Son Jesus Christ our Savior; who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
Updates from our Senior Warden and Search Committee will be posted here from time to time. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact EMEC's office at 217-352-9827 or by emailing us.
