20s and 30s at Emmanuel
Beginning in September, the young adult and young family ministry at Emmanuel will be hosting two monthly events: Pub Theology and Common Table. Both events will take place in-person (!) at rotating locations. Contact Marisa for the most up-to-date information!
Pub Theology: An hour-or-so-long get together at a local pub where we will be reading through and talking about the Gospel of Luke. This month's location is the Blind Pig Brewery in Downtown Champaign. We'll meet on September 9th at 7 p.m. Take a look at the first few chapters of Luke and bring your questions and your Bible! (Bonus points if you read the whole Gospel beforehand.)
Common Table: Brought to you by Emmanuel's previous curate, Common Table is just what it sounds like — a monthly meal shared in each other's homes! Taking place on the last Sunday of every month, we'll get together and eat and share some good old-fashioned Christian fellowship. First meeting is at 6 p.m. on September 26th. Contact The Curate for more information!
If you have ideas about fellowship or discipleship opportunities or would like to address specific spiritual needs or wants, please feel free to get in touch with Marisa Crofts, Emmanuel's curate.
